Netflix's upcoming dance-based film, Best of the Best has rounded out its cast, according to Variety. Comedian Hasan Minhaj is writing and producing the film. Maitreyi Ramakrishnan and Priyanka Kedia lead the cast, alongside Minhaj.

Joining the comedy are Lilly Singh, Ankur Rathee, and Janina Gavankar. Singh, who is a YouTuber turned actor, has appeared in Fahrenheit 451, and headlined her own talk show A Little Late with Lilly Singh. Meanwhile, Rathee has appeared in projects like Thappad, Inside Edge, and Shehzada. Gavankar's credits include her performances in Arrow, Borderlands, and True Blood.

Also joining the cast are Sasha Bhasin, Chaneil Kular, Shreya Navile, Becky Alex, Nihar Duvvuri, Nico Greetham, Amryn Khurrana, Tanishq Joshi, and Saara Chaudry.

Lena Khan, who previously served as a director on Never Have I Ever, which starred Ramakrishnan, is directing the film. Prashanth Venkataramanujam is writing the script alongside Minhaj, and serves as a producer with Jonathan Eirch. Ryan Halprin will serve as an executive producer. 186K films and Rideback are backing the film.

Ramakrishnan and Kedia will play childhood best friends, Maya and Anjali, respectively. After joining their college's Bollywood dance team, they discover that winning the national championship is tougher than they imagined.
