Mike Flanagan’s The Life Of Chuck, the upcoming sci-fi drama adapted from Stephen King’s novel, is all set to close the screen festival of the inaugural SXSW London. The film, starring Tom Hiddleston, won the Toronto Film Festival’s People’s Choice Award last year. The film will premiere on June 7 at the festival’s closing night.

The official description of The Life of Chuck reads, “A life-affirming, genre-bending story based on Stephen King's novella about three chapters in the life of an ordinary man named Charles Krantz."

With The Life of Chuck, Flanagan shifts gears from horror to a poignant exploration of existence, delving into the meaning of life's progression in the face of adversity. The film tells the story of Chuck Krantz, an ordinary accountant, through three segments unfolding in reverse chronological order, gradually revealing the mysteries of his life.

The ensemble cast also features Jacob Tremblay, Mark Hamill, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Matthew Lillard, Karen Gillan, and Mia Sara, alongside Nick Offerman providing the narration. The film is all set to hit theatres in June.
