Neon unveiled the trailer for the upcoming Tom Hiddleston film, The Life Of Chuck, on Tuesday. Based on Stephen King’s novella of the same name, the upcoming film is written for the screen and directed by Mike Flanagan.
The trailer shows Tom Hiddleston as the titular character Chuck Krantz and the three stages of his life. Love, loss, and life as a journey are featured in the trailer of the film. The official description reads, "A life-affirming, genre-bending story based on Stephen King's novella about three chapters in the life of an ordinary man named Charles Krantz."
With The Life of Chuck, Flanagan shifts gears from horror to a poignant exploration of existence, delving into the meaning of life's progression in the face of adversity. The film tells the story of Chuck Krantz, an ordinary accountant, through three segments unfolding in reverse chronological order, gradually revealing the mysteries of his life.
The ensemble cast also features Jacob Tremblay, Mark Hamill, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Matthew Lillard, Karen Gillan, and Mia Sara, alongside Nick Offerman providing the narration.
The film, which won the People’s Choice Award win at the Toronto Film Festival last year, is set to have a release by Neon in June.
