Actor Vinnie Jones, who played Juggernaut in Deadpool 2, said that he has decided not to reprise the role in Deadpool & Wolverine. He told Yahoo UK that the makers of the film approached him for the role but that he denied it because he was not feeling up to the physical and mental demands of wearing the costume of the character.

“Funnily enough, I just got asked to do Deadpool, the new one now, and I spoke to the director and I just said it’s such a drama putting that suit on mentally and physically," Jones said. "I mean, it had its mental toll as well, because you’re in it and you can’t do anything all day, you can only drink through a straw. So we couldn’t strike the deal for Deadpool & Wolverwine (sic).”

Jones also criticised X-Men: The Last Stand while describing the film as a "shambles." Calling the role in the X-Men film "diluted," the actor said that "it was different from what he signed up for." However, he expressed his love for Deadpool.

“But Deadpool’s my favourite movie of all time more or less. I really wanted to do it, but they didn’t have the budget to put me in the suit,” said Jones.

Deadpool & Wolverine will hit theatres on July 26, this year.
