Earlier, we reported that Bel-Air, the series that reimagines The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, is returning for a third season. Now, the makers have set a release date for Bel-Air Season 3. It stars Jabari Banks in a role-reprisal of Will Smith's meta character from the 1990 sitcom.

Bel-Air explores the cultural conflicts of a teenaged West Philadelphia native named Will (Banks) who moves in with his family members to Bel-Air, one of the wealthiest subrubs in Los Angeles. He navigates the cultural nuances of a place that is quite unlike the one he has known all his life while reckoning with second chances.

The series also stars Adrian Holmes, Cassandra Freeman, Olly Sholotan, Akira Akbar, Coco Jones, Jimmy Akingbola, and Tyler Barnhardt. Executive producers comprise Chris Collins, Andy Borowitz, James Lassiter, Terence Carter, Susan Borowitz, Benny Medina, Quincy Jones, Will Smith, and Miguel Melendez.

It will release on August 15 on Peacock.
