John Wick 4 star Scott Adkins signs up for Kickboxer: Armaggedon

In Kickboxer: Armaggedon, Adkins will portray the character of a martial arts guy helming a cult

British actor Scott Adkins is now part of the cast of Kickboxer: Armaggedon, which will conclude the reboot of the series of classic action films that started with the 1989 Jean-Claude Van Damme-starrer. Adkins is popular among action film buffs around the world for his parts in the Accident Man and Undisputed films. However, he has become more popular among a broder set of viewers thanks to his cameos in blockbusters such as The Bourne Ultimatum (2007), Doctor Strange (2016), and John Wick 4 (2023). One of his most recent releases is the finale of the John Wick franchise, where he played the gold-toothed boss of a German mob.

In Kickboxer: Armaggedon, Adkins will portray the character of Cesare, a martial arts guy helming a cult. The teaching philosophy of Ceasre includes learning with pain. The film also includes Alain Moussi as a figher who looks to avenge the murder of his brother and loves beating the baddies down. The Kickboxer: Retaliation director, Dimitri Logothetis, also comes back for the final chapter in the reboot trilogy. Calling Adkins "an exceptional actor" and a "martial arts legend," Logothetis said that he is pleased and excited about collaborating with the John Wick 4 star.
