Tom Cruise-Alejandro G. Iñárritu film onboards new cast members

Tom Cruise will also produce the yet-to-be-titled film

Tom Cruise and director Alejandro G. Iñárritu are currently working together on an untitled film for Warner Bros and Legendary Entertainment. The makers of the film announced that Sandra Hüller, John Goodman, Michael Stuhlbarg, Jesse Plemons and Sophie Wilde have come on board the film, while Riz Ahmed is in final talks to join the cast.

Cruise, who was last seen in Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One, will also be producing the film, which Iñàrritu co-wrote with Sabina Berman, Alexander Dinelaris, and Nicolas Giacobone. According to the makers, the film centres on the most powerful man in the world, who embarks on a frantic mission to prove he is humanity’s saviour before the disaster he’s unleashed destroys everything. 

Alejandro G. Iñárritu is best known for making films like the Michael Keaton starrer Birdman (2014) and the Leonardo DiCaprio starrer The Revenant (2015).
