Gen V star Chance Perdomo passes away at 27

Chance Perdomo shot to fame essaying the role of Ambrose Spellman in the Netflix series Chilling Adventures of Sabrina

Actor Chance Perdomo who is known for his roles in Chilling Adventures of Sabrina and Gen V, passed away on Sunday due to a motorcycle accident. He was 27.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, no one else was involved in the accident.

Producers of Gen V condoled his demise saying, "We can't quite wrap our heads around this." The statement called Perdomo a "smiling, charming, and an enthusiastic force of nature," in its rich tributes.

Amazon MGM Studios and Sony Pictures Television, in a separate statement, said, “The entire Gen V family is devastated by the sudden passing of Chance Perdomo. Amazon MGM Studios and Sony Pictures Television extend our heartfelt thoughts and support to Chance's family and all who loved him at this difficult time.”

Perdomo's representatives issued a statement on his demise said, "His passion for the arts and insatiable appetite for life was felt by all who knew him." The statement urged the public to respect the privacy of the late actor's family.

Chance Perdomo shot to fame essaying the role of Ambrose Spellman in the Netflix series Chilling Adventures of Sabrina. He recently starred in Gen V, spinoff of The Boys, where his character Andre Anderson is a university student who can manipulate things magnetically.

Apart from webseries, Perdomo has also starred in films such as the After franchise, Midsomer Murders, Killed By My Debt, Shakespeare & Hathaway: Private Investigators and Hetty Feathers.
