We had earlier reported that the remake of Mr & Mrs Smith is happening with Prime Video in form of series, starring actors Donald Glover and Maya Erskine in the lead roles. The streaming platform will now premiere in 2024.

A reboot of the 2005 film which starred actors Brad Pitt and Angeline Jolie in the lead roles as married assassins, Mr & Mrs Smith new version will have Donald and Maya reprising the roles.

In the series, each series will have the duo go after a new mission as they cross a milestone in their relationship. Apart from Donald and Maya, the series also stars Michaela Coel, John Turturro, Paul Dano, Parker Posey, and Wagner Moura.

Donald serves as the co-creator along with Francesca Sloane. Sloane is also the show runner.
