A new trailer for the upcoming Money Heist spinoff teases the return of a beloved character in their prime, preparing for a major heist. The original series focuses on a group of criminals plotting to steal from the Royal Mint of Spain, alongside the subsequent events that follow the heist. Every main character uses a location as their codename.

The 45-second-long teaser reveals Pedro Alonso returning to his role as Berlin while plotting a major heist. Netflix previously shared a teaser and first-look photos for the show.

Sharing the teaser, Netflix wrote, "Berlin is a poet and this is going to be his masterpiece. Mark your calendars, Berlin arrives 29th December!"

The series is slated for eight episodes, which is the same as Parts 3 and 4 of Money Heist.

Berlin is created by Money Heist creator Álex Pina and Esther Martínez Lobato. The original Money Heist had a three-season run from 2017 to 2021. The show inspired a Korean remake, Money Heist: Korea - Joint Economic Area, that was released in June 2022.

Berlin will premiere on Netflix on December 29.
