The sequel to Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey is all set to begin filming this fall. The independent film is directed by Rhys Frake-Waterfield who has a large number of producing credits. The iconic characters are adapted from a series of children’s books written by A A Milne and illustrated by E H Shepard.

The first film followed Winnie the Pooh and Piglet as they go on a bloodthirsty rampage to kill Christopher Robin after he abandons them to go to college. The film stars Craig David Dowsett, Chris Cordell, and Nikolai Leon as Winnie the Pooh, Piglet and Christopher Robin respectively.

Plot details about the sequel are yet to be disclosed by the makers. The first film ends with Christopher Robin managing to make it out alive even as Pooh lives on in the forest. The sequel is expected to follow what happens when Christopher reenters civilization.
