The trailer of Bridgerton spin-off series, Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story, was released by the Netflix on social media. The prequel is based on Bridgerton character Queen Charlotte and her earlier days before she became a queen.

The series is set to premiere on May 4.

The trailer shows Queen Charlotte and her impending wedding with King of England George and being asked to beget as many children as possible. As they fall in love eventually, the series promises to show the start of their relationship. 

Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story consists of six episodes, and will feature India Amarteifio in the titular chartacter. Corey Mylchreest and Arsema Thomas play the role of King George and Lady Agatha Danbury respectively. Michelle Fairley, Sam Clemmett, Freddie Dennis, Richard Cunningham, Tunji Kasim, Cyril Nri and Rob Maloney are also part of the cast.
