The Oscar and Emmy-winning documentary filmmaker Alex Gibney is set to helm a documentary about Elon Musk, the multi-billionaire CEO of Tesla, SpaceX and Twitter. The documentary will be titled Musk

Alex Gibney announced the news on Monday. Gibney’s Jigsaw Productions is backing the film alongside Closer Media. Anonymous Content and Double Agent. On commenting about the project, Gibney said, “I have been working on this film, off and on, for some time and am hugely excited about it. I am delighted by this extraordinary group working with me. Onward!”

Meanwhile, Alex Gibney is best known for his works that captured Julian Assange's Wikileaks and Russian President Vladimir Putin. His notable credits include The Inventor: Out for Blood in Silicon ValleyWe Steal Secrets: The Story of Wikileaks and Citizen K, among others.
