Actors Bradley Cooper and Christian Bale who once shared the screen space in American Hustle, are set to reunite once again for an upcoming film titled Best of Enemies. The film will be based on the book Best of Enemies: The Last Great Spy Story of the Cold War written by Eric Dezenhall and Gus Russo.

The film will be written by Eric Warren Singer who also penned the script for American Hustle. Best of Enemies will be backed by Charles Roven under the banner Atlas Entertainment. Best of Enemies will revolve around two Cold War spy agents, Jack and Gennady who form an unlikely friendship posing a grave danger to both of them.

Madison Weireter and Ryan Sanak of the banner will also be part of the production. The project is yet to be attached to a streamer or studio. While it is still unknown who will helm the film, possibilities linger that Bradley can wield the microphone following his directorial Maestro.
