 Trailer of Amandla Stenberg, Bobbi Salvor Menuez's My Animal is out

Paramount Movies dropped the trailer of the upcoming werewolf film, My Animal starring  Amandla Stenberg and Bobbi Salvör Menuez in the lead roles. Directed by Jacqueline Castel from a screenplay written by Jae Matthews, My Animal will hit the theatres on September 8. 

My Animal features Amandla Stenberg as Jonny and Bobbi Salvör Menuez as Heather. The film's official logline read, "Tormented by a hidden family curse, Heather is forced to live a secluded life on the outskirts of a small town. When she falls for the rebellious Jonny, their connection threatens to unravel Heather's suppressed desires, tempting her to unleash the animal within."

My Animal also stars Stephen McHattie, Heidi von Palleske, Cory Lipman, and Joe Apollonio, among others.  

Meanwhile, Amandla Stenberg, who shot to fame after her portrayal as Rue in The Hunger Games, was last seen in Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse as the voice of Margo Kess / Spider-Byte. The actor's other popular credits include Bodies Bodies Bodies and The Hate U Give, among others. On the other hand, Menuez's feature credits include Something in the Air, The Breakup Girl, White Girl and Euphoria, among others.
