Randall Park to star opposite Will Ferrell, Jamie Foxx in comedy feature Strays

Actor Randall Park will star opposite Will Ferrell and Jamie Foxx in the upcoming comedy feature Strays.

Written by Dan Perrault and set to be directed by Josh Greenbaum, Strays will be a live-action feature with CGI canines. Ferrell stars as a stray dog who abandons his abusive owner (Will Forte) and befriends a dog (Foxx). The character Park is set to play is currently kept under wraps. 

Developed by Erik Feig’s Picturestart production company, the film was initially pitched to Louis Leterrier, Phil Lord and Chris Miller, before pitching it to Greenbaum. All of the above are now serving as producers in the project along with Aditya Sood.

Picturestart’s Jessica Switch and Julia Hammer serve as executive producers alongside Lord Miller’s Nikki Baida. Strays is slated for release in theatres on June 9, 2023.

Meanwhile, Park will be soon be seen reprising his role as scientist Dr Stephen Shin in Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom. The actor is currently shooting for Netflix’s comedy series Blockbuster, set in the last Blockbuster Video store in America.
