Marvel’s recently synopsis for their upcoming film Doctor Stranger in the Multiverse of Madness is out. It introduces the audience to a possibility of a mysterious new villain. The synopsis also hints that the Stephen aka Doctor Strange, will be stepping into alternate realities. 

The new synopsis reads, "In Marvel Studios' Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, the MCU unlocks the Multiverse and pushes its boundaries further than ever before. Journey into the unknown with Doctor Strange, who, with the help of mystical allies both old and new, traverses the mind-bending and dangerous alternate realities of the Multiverse to confront a mysterious new adversary."

While the synopsis does not reveal who the ally or the adversary could be. Fan theories suggest that the enemy in this instalment of Doctor Strange could be a variant of Strange, as seen in What If…? We can take guesses at who would be Doctor Strange’s ally from the post credit scene in Spider-Man: No Way Home and the one in Wanda Vision. 

It would be interesting to see the role that Wanda Maximoff aka Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen) plays in aiding Doctor Strange resolving the conflicts that have arised due to his interference with the space-time continuum. The other allies may include Wong (Benedict Wong), Christine Palmer (Rachel McAdams), America Chavez (Xochitl Gomez).
