Netflix releases trailer for spy thriller series Treason starring Charlie Cox

Netflix has released the first official trailer for the upcoming spy thriller series titled Treason starring Charlie Cox in the lead. The Daredevil star plays an MI6 pilot named Adam Lawrence whose life is thrown into chaos after he meets a girl named Kara who is revealed to be a Russian spy. The ensuing chaos forges a bond between Adam, his wife Maddy and Kara, which turns into a complicated triangular relationship.

The series stars Oblivion star Olga Kurylenko as the Russian spy Kara while Game of Thrones fame Oona Chaplin plays Adam’s wife Maddy. The cast of the series also includes Avital Lvova, Tracy Ifeachor, Adam James, Samuel Leakey, Beau Gadsdon, Joe Macaulay, Rishi Nair and Ciarán Hinds.

The series is created by Matt Charman who is best known for co-writing Bridge of Spies. Louise Hooper and Sarah O'Gorman are brought in as directors. The Netflix series is all set to start streaming from 26 December.
