The Mandalorian-star Gina Carano will star in the upcoming biopic of US President Joe Biden's son, Hunter Biden.

Titled My Son Hunter, the film is set to be directed by Robert Davi. The film will follow Hunter's scandalous business dealings and lifestyle, chronicling the events surrounding his acquisition of tens of millions of dollars from foreign entities owned by Chinese, Ukrainian and Russian oligarchs.

Carano will play a world-weary secret service agent in the movie. She joins the previously announced cast including Laurence Fox (who plays Hunter Biden), and John James (who plays President Joe Biden).

The film is currently in production in Serbia. Los Angeles-based Irish filmmakers and journalist couple Phelim McAleer and Ann McElhinney are set to produce My Son Hunter.
