Director Antoine Fuqua has signed a first-look partnership with streaming giant Netflix. This is followed by their successful collaboration, The Guilty, starring Jake Gyllenhaal. This deal is expected to focus primarily on documentary features and films according to a report on Variety.

The director also announced on Friday that his production company would be renamed Hill District Media. It was previously known as Fuqua Films. The new name emphasized the director's background and roots, and this is also expected to translate to his work on screen.

The Guilty received intense reviews after its premiere at this year's Toronto Film Festival. The Equalizer director is currently working on Emancipation. This film stars Will Smith and the action thriller is penned by William N Collage.

He also wrapped up work on the Amazon series titled The Terminal List starring Chris Pratt. This TV series also stars Constance Wu, Taylor Kitsch, and Patrick Schwarzenegger among others. The show is based on a novel of the same name penned by author Jack Carr.
