The official trailer of Miss Shetty Mr Polishetty (MSMP), an upcoming film set to release on September 7, has been unveiled by the film's team on Monday evening. The trailer launch event took place in Prasads, Hyderabad.

Naveen plays a stand-up comic and Anushka plays a chef in the film. The film was originally scheduled to release on August 4, but it was postponed. The film is now hitting the theatres on September 7, on the occasion of Janmashtami. MSMP is written and directed by Mahesh Babu P. 

In the two-minute odd trailer, we are introduced to the film's leads. Naveen is seen cracking jokes throughout the film, staying true to his character's profession. He is seen falling for Anushka's character but gets a rude shock when she asks him to be her donor for artificial insemination. The rest of the trailer shows Naveen's incredulity at Anushka's request and their will-they-wont-they dynamic. The film is shot in Hyderabad as well as London.

MSMP is produced by Vamsi and Pramod under the banner UV Creations. This is the second time UV Creations is collaborating with Anushka, after Bhaagmathie. Radhan and Gopi Sundar are the music composers of the film, with cinematography by Nirav Shah, editing by Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao and art direction by Raheevan Nambiar.
