Tamannaah Bhatia replaces Mouni Roy in Bole Chudiyan

Tamannaah Bhatia has replaced Mouni Roy as the female lead opposite Nawazuddin Siddiqui in Bole Chudiyan. Mouni had exited the project following disagreements with producers Rajesh and Kiran Bhatia of Woodpecker Movies.

Directed by Nawazuddin’s brother Shamas Siddiqui, Bole Chudiyan goes on floors in July in Rajasthan for a start-to-finish schedule.

“This will be the very first time I will be attempting such a multi-layered character in a mainstream Bollywood film. What really caught my attention was the storyline of the film which is a relevant and prevalent issue that grips society at large even today,” Tamannaah said.

Welcoming his new co-star on board, Nawazuddin shared, “I’m so happy and satisfied with this casting and looking forward to work with Tamannaah. I feel she is the correct and perfect choice for this role.”

Shamas Siddiqui added, “Tamannaah has that spark in her eyes and dedication which I was looking for in my heroine.”

Tamannaah Bhatia was last seen in Khamoshi, directed by Chakri Toleti. Her upcoming projects include That Is Mahalakshmi (the Telugu remake of Queen), Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy and an untitled film with Sundar C.
