Maidaan to release in theatres on June 3, 2022

Ajay Devgn-starrer Maidaan will release in theatres on June 3, 2022.

Directed by Amit Ravindranath Sharma, the film is based on the life of Indian football coach Syed Abdul Rahim, who managed our national team from 1950 till 1963. He was one of the key figures of the golden age of Indian football.

Maidaan also stars Priyamani, Gajraj Rao and Rudranil Ghosh. The film's sets were damaged by Cyclone Tauktae in Maharashtra back in May. The film had suffered a similar setback in mid-2020 at the start of the pandemic.

Besides Maidaan, Ajay Devgn has MayDay releasing on April 29 next year. The film, an aviation thriller, is directed by Ajay and fronted by him and Amitabh Bachchan.
