Ali Fazal, Arati Kadav team up for a sci-fi short film

The film was recently shot in Mumbai for 4 days

Actor Ali Fazal will be appearing as the lead in a short film directed by Arati Kadav, best-known for directing Cargo. The short, billed as a science-fiction tale, was recently shot in Mumbai for 4 days. Further details related to the yet-to-be-titled short are currently under wraps and are expected to be unveiled shortly.

Speaking of the film, Ali says in a statement, “Collaborating with Arati has been an amazing experience. I have to say that I really had a lot of fun shooting with her and I think she’s immensely talented in what she does. We shot the entire film in the span of just four days in Mumbai. The genre is extremely exciting, something I have done for the very first time in my career, so that has been something really interesting."

Arati's previous works in the short film format include 55 km/sec, starring Richa Chadha, and Time Machine, featuring Siddharth Menon and Loveleen Mishra.
