The trailer of Ishq: Not a Love Story, the Telugu remake of the 2019-Malayalam film of the same name has been released today. The film has Zombie Reddy-fame Teja Sejja stepping into the shoes of Shane Nigam.

Priya Prakash Varrier, who was last seen in Check alongside Nithiin, will be reprising the role played by Ann Sheetal in the original.

Ravindra Vijay, who shot to fame with Uma Maheshwara Ugra Roopasya, will be playing the antagonist essayed by Shine Tom Chacko in the Malayalam film.

Ishq follows a young couple who are subjected to moral policing on a date night and the repercussions that follow. Bankrolled by Mega Super Good Films, the Telugu film is directed by SS Raju and is set to hit screens on April 23.
