The first teaser of Allu Arjun's Pushpa, titled Introducing Pushpa Raj, has been released at a grand event held in Hyderabad today. The 80-second teaser gives a peek into the film's lush forest setting which becomes the base for action sequences involving Allu Arjun. 

The film's leading lady Rashmika Mandanna makes a brief, yet noteworthy appearance in tribal attire. Interestingly, the teaser of Pushpa replaces Allu Arjun's 'Stylish Star' tag with 'Icon Star'.

Interestingly, Fahadh Faasil, who is playing the antagonist, is not featured in the trailer.

Pushpa marks the third collaboration between Allu Arjun and Sukumar after Arya and its 2009 quasi-sequel, Arya 2.

The film has music by Devi Sri Prasad and cinematography by Miroslaw Kuba Brozek. Bankrolled by Mythri Movie Makers, Pushpa is set for release in Telugu, Malayalam, Tamil, Hindi, and Kannada on August 13.
