The much-awaited Soorarai Pottru trailer dropped this morning. The featurette shows us a glimpse of Maara's (Suriya) struggle to start an airlines service that is affordable to even the economically weaker sections of society.

Suriya's striking performance and screen presence is supported by GV Prakash's electrifying background score and Nikketh Bommi's visuals. The liberal-yet-apt usage of swearing blends in with the mood of the trailer.

With the film set to premiere on Amazon Prime Video on November 12, it certainly seems like Suriya's fans are in for a treat this Diwali. 

Inspired by the real-life story of Air Deccan founder GR Gopinath, Soorarai Pottru was originally scheduled for release on October 30. But the film's release was delayed due to pending NOC approvals from the Indian Air Force. 

Produced by Suriya's own production banner 2D Entertainment and Sikhya Entertainment, and directed by Sudha Kongara, Soorarai Pottru also stars Aparna Balamurali, Mohan Babu, Paresh Rawal, Urvashi, and Karunas.
