The official trailer of Fast and Furious 9 was unveiled yesterday. The video shows Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel) battling out with his younger brother, Jakob (John Cena).

The trailer begins with Dom saying, "I used to live my life a quarter-mile at a time. But things changed, I am a father now." We then see his son Brian and ladylove Letty (Michelle Rodriguez). The hook-tune of the song See You Again plays in the background as we see Dom and Letty in a conversation with their son.

The scene is followed by some rip-roaring action sequences, adrenaline-pumping sound effects, and some surprises.

In the previous editions of the franchise, Dom has always fought for his family. But in F9, we will see him take on his estranged little brother, Jakob — a master thief, assassin and a high-performance driver.

The trailer shows familiar faces returning for the new film, and also confirms that Han Lue (Sung Kang), who was perceived to have been killed by Deckard Shaw (Jason Statham), is still alive.

The ninth part of the franchise, also referred to as Fast 9 and directed by Justin Lin, will be hitting the screens in India on Eid 2020 and will clash at the box office with Akshay Kumar's Laxmmi Bomb and Salman Khan's Radhe.
