Maharshi trailer packs a punch

CE Features

The theatrical trailer of Maharshi showing Mahesh Babu in three distinct avatars -- as a college goer, a business tycoon and a farmer was released to overwhelming response at the pre-release event of the film earlier today.

The 155-second trailer is replete with humour and emotions, while the dialogues uttered by Mahesh, a go-getter who likes to rule the world and hates losing in life, pack quite a punch. In addition to action sequences, a hero-villain confrontation, and the father-son conflict, the trailer also features a good deal of buddy-comedy between Mahesh, Pooja Hegde and Allari Naresh, who play the other leads in the film.

Directed by Vamshi Paidipally, Maharshi is set against the backdrop of The Pasarlapudi oil rig blowout that took place on January 8, 1995, near Amalapuram of East Godavari district.

Devi Sri Prasad, who earlier composed tunes for Mahesh Babu’s previous outings like 1-Nenokkadine, Srimanthudu and Bharat Ane Nenu, has collaborated with the actor for the fourth time for this action drama.
