The trailer of Nayanthara's next, Airaa, directed by Echarikkai-fame Sarjun KM and produced by KJR studios has dropped. The actor plays a dual role in the horror drama.

Airaa has music by 8 Thottakal-fame KS Sundaramurthy. Apart from Nayanthara, whose character in the film is said to have no romantic interest, it also stars Kalaiyarasan, Yogi Babu, Jayaprakash and Malayalam actor Kulappulli Leela. 

While Airaa is scheduled for release next week, Nayanthara will also be seen in Sivakarthikeyan’s Mr Local with director Rajesh. The actor has several other projects in the pipeline, including the Chakri Toleti-directorial Kolayuthir Kaalam, Atlee's Thalapathy 63, the Malayalam film, Love Action Drama, directed by Dhyan Sreenivasan, and the mega-budget Telugu period drama, Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, co-starring Chiranjeevi.
