The trailer of Nani's Gang Leader has dropped. The video presents Nani as Pencil, a writer who has a flair for penning revenge stories by drawing inspiration from Hollywood movies. He decides to help five women, who are seething with rage, and ends up penning an original story with him spearheading their revenge mission. The film's leading lady, Priyanka Arul Mohan then uncovers that Nani has ripped off all his stories from different novels. 

The 151-second video is also filled with an intriguing glimpse of Karthikeya — the protagonist of the film. Also, a couple of shots show Nani wearing a Chiranjeevi mask and holding the welding gun a la the Megastar from his 1991 blockbuster Gang Leader. 

Directed by Vikram K Kumar, Gang Leader is scheduled for release on September 13 and the film's trailer will now be screened in the theatres, attached to Saaho prints from August 30.

Also featuring veteran actor Lakshmi, Saranya Ponvannan, and Priyadarshi in significant roles, the film has music by Anirudh Ravichander.
