The trailer of Irandam Ulagaporin Kadaisi Gundu, directed by Athiyan Athirai, an erstwhile assistant of Pa Ranjith, was launched today.

The two-minute-long trailer features Dinesh as a junkyard worker and Riythvika as a social activist. Anandhi's character seems to have a strong influence from her previous film, Pariyerum Perumal, and just like the Mari Selvaraj-directorial, she seems to be the only joyful character in IUKG

The story revolves around a lost missile of the second world war, which is found by Dinesh's character. It is later revealed in the trailer that the missile is still in an active state and if it ends up exploding the aftereffects will last for five hundred years. The trailer also has a parallel Theru Koothu narration which indirectly explains the plot.

The film, with music by newcomer Tenma, is expected to hit the screens soon.
