Trailer of Govinda and Varun Sharma's comedy film Fryday is out

While Varun plays the role of a ‘failed salesman’ in the film, Govinda plays a ‘lucky customer’ who is two-timing his girlfriends

Govinda and Varun Sharma have teamed up for a new comedy film titled Fryday. The film is directed by Abhishek Dogra of Dolly Ki Doli fame. The trailer of Fryday was released online on Saturday and featured the comic duo locking horns in hilarious ways. While Varun plays the role of a ‘failed salesman’ in the film, Govinda plays a ‘lucky customer’ who is two-timing his girlfriends.

Govinda was last seen in the 2017 action-comedy film, Aa Gaya Hero. Varun Sharma rose to fame with his fortune-telling character ‘Choocha’ in Fukrey and Fukrey Returns. Fryday is presented by Inbox Pictures Pvt Ltd and co-produced by Sajid Qureshi and PVR Pictures.

The film was earlier scheduled for release in May but was later postponed to October 12.
