The official trailer of the Tamil-Telugu bilingual Karu, directed by Vijay and starring Sai Pallavi was released today by Prabhudheva. The film, which has music by Sam CS and cinematography by Nirav Shah, marks the Premam actor's debut in Tamil.

The horror thriller produced by Lyca Productions will have Sai Pallavi playing the role of a mother. The trailer also shows RJ Balaji playing a cop in the film, in what appears to be a departure from his usual comic roles.
