A special live-stream event was held last night (IST) for the launch of the trailer of filmmaker Steven Spielberg's Ready Player One, adapted from best-selling author Ernie Cline's novel of the same name.

Audiences were treated to the first visuals from the film earlier this July during the Ready Player One film panel at the San Diego Comic Con. The footage that was subsequently released online worldwide went on to garner appreciation from all corners. 

The second trailer that's come out now takes it up a notch, showcasing pop culture elements from the 80s. We also get a better look at the world of OASIS in this latest trailer.

Directed by Steven Spielberg, Ready Player One slated for a March 30, 2018 release stars Tye Sheridan, Olivia Cooke, Ben Mendelsohn, Mark Rylance, Simon Pegg, TJ Miller, Hannah John-Kamen, Win Morisaki and Philip Zhao.
