Shoojit Sircar: People expected Gulabo Sitabo to be a Piku 2 or Vicky Donor 2

In this candid chat with senior journalist Kaveree Bamzai, Gulabo Sitabo director Shoojit Sircar talks about reuniting with Amitabh Bachchan and Ayushmann Khurrana in the film, which released directly on OTT this Friday. They further talk about the recent death of Sushant Singh Rajput, behind-the-scenes action of Gulabo Sitabo, and more. 

Shoojit's creations have been vastly different from each other, but the director shared that they have all served to be life lessons. "You make films that somewhere steers you deep down, or shakes you. I don't make films for commercial reasons."
