Following Harbhajan Singh's birthday yesterday, the makers of his upcoming Tamil film, Friendship, have launched the first single, Superstar Anthem. Sung by Simbu and penned by Gowtham R, the 2.43-minute lyrical video was launched by Raghava Lawrence and is made in tribute to actor Rajinikanth.
The film, which also stars Bigg Boss-fame Losliya and Arjun in pivotal roles, is directed by John Paul Raj and Sham Surya. The cast includes Sathish and MS Baskar, among others.
Friendship has music by DM Udhaya Kumar and cinematography by Santhakumar C. It is produced by JPR and Stalin. This film marks the acting debut of Harbhajan Singh and Losliya in Tamil cinema.
Harbhajan will also be seen in Santhanam's upcoming time-travel film, Dikkiloona.
