The trailer of Pekamedalu, an upcoming comedy drama film starring Vinoth Kishan, has been unveiled by Vishwak Sen. The film is produced by actor Rakesh Varre under his banner Crazy Ants Productions. Crazy Ants has earlier producing Evarikee Cheppodu in 2018. While Evarikee Cheppodu also starred Baahubali fame actor Rakesh in the lead role, he will serve as a producer for Pekamedalu. While the official release date of the film has not been announced, Pekamedalu will be hitting the theatres sometime in August. The film is written and directed by debutant Neelagiri Mamilla. Anoosha Krishna is the female lead of the film.

The teaser of the film introduces us to our protagonist, played by Vinoth Kishan. He moves between two worlds, one middle class and other upper middle class, calling himself an entrepreneur in the latter. He is shown to be getting in trouble in some parts of the teaser. 

Smaran Sai is the music director of the film, with cinematography by Haricharan K, editing by Srujana Adusumilli and Hamza Ali and production design by Kranti Priyam. The writing team of the film comprises of editor Hamza Ali and director Neelagiri, in addition to Srinivas Ittam. The dialogues and lyrics of the film are penned by Bhargava Karthik.
