The trailer of Baby, an upcoming romantic comedy starring Anand Deverakonda, Vaishnavi Chaitanya and Viraj Ashwin has been unveiled. The film is scheduled for a July 14 release. Baby is written and directed by Sai Rajesh, who has earlier written, produced and directed parody troll films with Sampoornesh Babu under the pseudonym Steven Shankar. Sai Rajesh is also the writer and producer of the Suhas starrer Colour Photo, which won the National Award for Best Film in Telugu in 2020. 

The three minute-long trailer introduces us to the characters of the film as well as its key premise. Anand Deverakonda and Vaishnavi Chaitanya play high-school sweethearts. While Vaishnavi’s character goes to college, Anand drops out and starts working as a rickshaw driver. Trouble comes when Vaishnavi falls in love with her rich batchmate, played by Viraj Ashwin. The teaser of the film has been unveiled months ago, along with music of the film, which has given it some hype.

Baby also stars Naga Babu, Lirisha, Kusuma Degalamarri, Sathvik Anand, Babloo, Seetha, Mounica and Keerthana. The film is produced by SKN under the banner Mass Movie Makers. Vijai Bulganin is the music director of the film, with cinematography by MN Balreddy, editing by Viplav Nyshadam and production design by Suresh Bhimgani.
