Suguna Sundari from Balakrishna-Shruti Haasan's Veera Simha Reddy out

CE Features

We had previously reported that the second single from Nandamuri Balakrishna's upcoming release, Veera Simha Reddy, will be out on Thursday.

As promised, the makers have unveiled the song, titled Suguna Sundari. The song is a foot-tapping number composed by S Thaman, played to the vocals of Ram Miriyala and Snigdha Sharma, and features lyrics by Ramajogaiah Sastry.

Directed by Gopichand Malineni, the film stars Shruti Haasan, Lal, Duniya Vijay, Honey Rose, and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, among others in prominent roles.

The first single from the film was titled 'Jai Balayya'.

Produced by Mythri Movie Makers, the action entertainer is set to hit screens on January 12, coinciding with Sankranthi 2023 and clashing with Chiranjeevi's Waltair Veerayya which also hails from the same production house. Interestingly, Shruti Haasan plays the female lead in Waltair Veerayya too.

The film marks Balakrishna's latest Sankranthi release after NTR: Kathanayakudu in 2019. Post Veera Simha Reddy, he will team up with filmmaker Anil Ravipudi.
