The teaser of Chiranjeevi's upcoming film GodFather has been released ahead of the actor's birthday on Monday. The film directed by Mohan Raja is the official remake of the Malayalam film, Lucifer.

GodFather teaser begins with a voice-over introducing Chiranjeevi's character. We then see glimpses of Nayanthara and Sathyadev. Samuthirakani, who plays a cop, also appears in the teaser. Salman Khan makes an appearance towards the end. The final shot has Salman and Chiranjeevi making a 'smashing' entry to a room full of armed gangsters.

While Chiranjeevi reprises Mohanlal's role, Salman Khan is essaying the role played by Prithviraj Sukumaran in the original.

GodFather, which has music by Thaman, is slated to hit screens on October 5 in both Telugu and Hindi languages.
