Rashmika Mandanna bashes up people, holds her breath underwater while wedging a weapon through someone's head, gets covered in mud, goes into a waterfall, and brings much intensity in the new teaser for her upcoming film Mysaa. At one point of the Mysaa teaser, a character describes her as "the bloody weapon who decides the war." As reported before, the actor portrays a Gond woman in the upcoming film, directed by debutant Rawindra Pulle from a screenplay he has written alongside Rajkumar Kandamudi.

Ever since the announcement of the film, the makers have been promising a never-seen-before avatar from Rashmika Mandanna in it. The Mysaa teaser only builds on the promise, suggesting a level of violence from the actor that is rare for heroines in Indian cinema.

Recently, while announcing the film's release date, its producer UnFormula Films wrote in the caption, referring to the protagonist, "Resilient by nature. Fearless by choice. Unbreakable by spirit."

While Rashmika has shown her rage in films such as Animal, Mysaa takes the intensity up by a notch by making her perform daring action sequences in a role that is physically demanding and emotionally charged. While sharing the teaser, the makers wrote in the description, "Mysaa promises to be a high-octane emotional action thriller that ventures deep into the culturally rich and captivating world of the Gond tribes. Rashmika Mandanna will be seen in a completely transformative and never-seen-before avatar, portraying a Gond woman with fierce intensity and emotional depth."

The upcoming film also stars Eshwari Rao, Rahul Ravindran, Samuthirakani, Rao Ramesh, Shiva Kandukuri, Karthik Ranjini, Tarak Ponnappa, and Nidhi Singh. On the technical front, it has composer Jakes Bejoy, cinematographer Shreyaas Krishna, editor Karthika Srinivas R, production designer GM Sekhar, and stunt choreographer Kecha Khamphakdee.
