Kiran Abbavaram is busy as an actor, director, and now as a producer as well. He earlier produced the film Timmarajupalli TV as part of his effort to encourage new talent. Now, he is coming up with another film, Hatah, which he is producing under his KA Productions banner in association with Pournami Entertainments. Directed by Anush Gorak, the film's teaser was unveiled on Saturday.
Presented by Kiran Abbavaram and produced by Shivashankar Naidu Y, the film stars Kushlu, Rehman, Namritha MV, and Thanuja Puttaswamy in key roles. The makers have announced that Hatah will hit the screens on November 6.
Apart from directing the film, Anush Gorak has written the screenplay and handled the cinematography. “This is a mystical thriller with elements of horror, suspense, and several other genres. The story is filled with many secrets, and they are meant to be experienced only in theatres. I’ll reveal more about the film at our upcoming events,” said director Anush Gorak.
Actress Thanuja Puttaswamy, who is popular for her TV serials and later gained recognition through Bigg Boss, is playing a key role in the film. “We often describe films by talking about their stories, but Hatah is a film that should be experienced rather than explained. I’m very happy to have received this opportunity. I worked on this film even before entering Bigg Boss, and I have always been confident about its content. I spoke about that confidence even after coming out of the show,” said Thanuja.
She added that she has been part of the team for nearly three years. “This is Anush garu’s dream project. When he explained the story with detailed sketches, I realised how much depth it has,” she added.
Producer Kiran Abbavaram said that he truly believes Hatah will be a special film for everyone involved. “We still have around 50 days before the release, and I can confidently say that audiences will be surprised in every single scene. Throughout the film, you’ll keep wondering what happens next. It creates a completely new experience and keeps you hooked until the climax.
“After watching the completed film, it took me nearly ten minutes to connect all the links in the story. I called director Anush and asked him to explain everything because the screenplay is filled with layers and surprises. This Diwali, we’re bringing audiences a completely new kind of movie experience,” said Kiran Abbavaram.
He further added that the editing, music, visuals, and performances will surprise audiences. “This is a film that audiences from every region will enjoy, which is why we’re releasing it in multiple languages,” said Kiran. He also added that director Anush Gorak will earn the recognition he deserves with the film.
