Actor Adivi Sesh has established himself in the spy genre with his earlier film Goodachari. The film was an instant hit, and now the actor is coming up with its sequel, G2. The film went on floors a long time ago, and fans have been eagerly waiting for the spy thriller. Now, the makers have officially announced the release date.

Vinay Kumar Sirigineedi is making his directorial debut with G2, which is jointly produced by TG Vishwa Prasad, Abhishek Agarwal and Anil Sunkara under the banners of People Media Factory, Abhishek Agarwal Arts and AK Entertainments. The makers have now locked February 5, 2027, as the release date for this spy thriller.

Interestingly, Adivi Sesh continues to play the spy in the sequel, while Wamiqa Gabbi has joined him as Agent 116. Bollywood actor Emraan Hashmi is playing a key role, while Supriya Yarlagadda is reprising her role from Goodachari. Murali Sharma and Madhushalini are also playing important roles in the sequel.

The makers have announced that they are mounting the film on an international scale with high-octane action sequences. They have also said that G2 will bring a fresh take on the spy genre in Indian cinema with its story and action sequences.

With the success of Goodachari, expectations are high on G2. Meanwhile, Wamiqa Gabbi’s recent Tamil film DC also turned out to be a major success, with the actress receiving appreciation for her performance. She was paired opposite Lokesh Kanagaraj in the film, which was also released in Telugu. The film received a positive response in both languages.
