Naga Chaitanya's Vrushakarma confirms December release date

Vrushakarma is headlined by Naga Chaitanya and Meenakshi Chaudhary with Sukumar producing the upcoming film

The makers of Vrushakarma have confirmed that the film will release on December 4. The upcoming adventure film will star Naga Chaitanya and Meenakshi Chaudhary in the lead.

Vrushakarma is directed by Karthik Dandu, who is known for making Virupaksha. The upcoming film was launched in December 2024 with the official title being revealed in December 2025. BVSN Prasad is producing Vrushakarma under the Venkateswara Cine Chitra banner, along with Sukumar who is producing under his Sukumar Writings banner.

Sparsh Srivatsava, who shot to fame with Laapataa Ladies (2023), will be playing the antagonist in Vrushakarma.

The crew of the film includes composer Ajaneesh B Loknath, director of photography Ragul D Herian, editor Naveen Nooli, production designer Sri Nagendra Tangala, and stunt choreographer Tudor Lazarov.

Zee has bagged Vrushakarma's non-theatrical rights, ie., its satellite and digital rights, for Rs 48 crores.

While details of the plot are kept under wrap, the film is said to be an adventure film with elements of fantasy and mytholgy in play.
