Recently, we reported about director Anil Ravipudi and actor Venkatesh's upcoming film being titled January 12 Vidudala. Also starring Nandamuri Kalyan Ram, the film is produced by Sahu Garapati through his banner Shine Screens as well as presented by Suresh Productions, Archana and Zee Studios.

It marks the fifth collaboration between Venkatesh and Anil Ravipudi, the previous four being F2: Fun and Frustration, F3: Fun and Frustration, Sankranthiki Vasthunam, and Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu. Therefore, it was tentatively known as Venky Anil 5 before the makers announced the official title.

The film's strong team of technicians include composer GV Prakash, cinematographer Sameer Reddy, editor Tammiraju, and production designer AS Prakash. On Thursday, GV Prakash made a comment about the upcoming film that is set to excite the fans of Venkatesh and Anil Ravipudi.

Taking to X, the composer wrote, "Just saw one hour thirty mins footage of January 12 Vidudala. …. BLOCKBUSTER incoming for sankranthi …." The music director also tagged Anil Ravipudi, followed by firecracker emoticons.

GV Prakash also shared what looks like a still from his working draft for the upcoming film featuring Venkatesh and Kalyan Ram's characters. The film marks the first collaboration between the two actors under Anil's direction.

It is expected to hit theatres in the Sankranthi season next year and is regarded as one of the most highly anticipated upcoming releases in Telugu cinema. The festival season marks a productive time for director Anil, who has brought his cinema to the period with strong commercial values. If GV Prakash's latest reaction is anything to go by, January 12 Vidudala might just continue that tradition of commercial hits for the filmmaker.
