Recently, the makers of Itlu Arjuna announced that the film would release on October 30. However, they could not make it to that date as Venkatesh's big-ticket film Adarsha Kutumbam occupied the slot. Now, the makers have announced that Itlu Arjuna will arrive in theatres on November 13. Interestingly, Nagarjuna is presenting the film, which is produced by Venky Kudumula under his newly launched banner, What Next Entertainments.
Anaswara Rajan, who made her Telugu debut with Champion, is playing the female lead opposite debutant Aniesh. Mahesh Uppala is also making his directorial debut with this film. The makers have unveiled some promotional content, which has received a positive response. More importantly, Nagarjuna had earlier revealed at an event that he had watched the film and liked it. Nagarjuna also said that he decided to become its presenter after watching the film.
This project also marks popular director Venky Kudumula's debut as a producer. The makers announced the new release date through a poster featuring vibrant visuals and a creative presentation. It shows Aniesh and Anaswara Rajan seated together on a giant calendar, with the actress leaning affectionately towards the hero.
The film explores an unusual love story revolving around Arjun, a mute young man who has silently loved Keerthi all his life. His inability to express his emotions through words leads to an unconventional journey filled with romance, humour, adventure and unexpected twists. The distinctive premise gives the film a refreshing identity, promising an entertaining blend of emotions and fun.
Nagarjuna has already watched the film and appreciated its fresh concept and distinctive storytelling. His encouragement and support have come as a major boost to the young team.
On the technical front, the film marks the debut of cinematographer Raja Mahadevan, while Thaman S has composed the music. The musical promotions have also received an encouraging response, with the album featuring songs such as Hai Re, sung by Anirudh Ravichander, Chinni Chinni by Mohit Chauhan and Yellow Chunni by Vishal Mishra.
With its unconventional romantic premise, refreshing lead pair and interesting promotional campaign, Itlu Arjuna is gearing up to offer a different theatrical experience.
