Action choreographer Vvenkat is making his directorial debut with Singa, which stars T Gopichand in the lead role. The film is being produced by Vijay Chilla and Shashi Devireddy under the 70mm Entertainments banner. Malayalam actress Anarkali Nazar is making her Telugu debut as the female lead.

The makers had earlier unveiled Gopichand's first-look poster, which generated a positive response. Now, they have released another poster and announced that the film has completed an extensive shooting schedule, with 50 per cent of the shoot wrapped up.

According to the makers, elaborate sets were erected to recreate a surreal forest environment for the film. They expressed satisfaction with the progress and confidence in the way the project is shaping up.

The newly released poster presents Gopichand in a fierce avatar. The actor is seen standing atop a rocky mound amid a dense, mysterious forest, hinting at the film's intense action-driven backdrop.

Preparations are underway for the next phase of production, with even more expansive sets being constructed. The next schedule is slated to begin on a grand scale in December. The makers are planning to mount the film on a lavish scale, ensuring that every aspect of the production aligns with their vision.

Singa promises to present Gopichand in a powerful new avatar, blending intense action with emotion and drama. Vvenkat, who has extensive experience choreographing high-octane action sequences, is now taking on the responsibility of directing the film.

The project also boasts a strong technical team, with Shamdat ISC handling cinematography, Sam CS composing the music, National Award-winning editor Sreekar Prasad overseeing editing, and Rama Krishna-Monika serving as production designers.
