Akkineni Naga Chaitanya is busy with his upcoming film Vrushakarma, directed by Karthik Dandu of Virupaksha fame. The film is nearing completion, and the makers have announced December 4 as its release date. BVSN Prasad is producing the film under the SVCC banner in association with Sukumar Writings, while Bapineedu is presenting it.

The film is being mounted on a grand scale, with the makers investing heavily in its production. Interestingly, Karthik Dandu made his directorial debut with Virupaksha, a supernatural thriller, and has now chosen a subject with mythological and ancient-mystery elements for Vrushakarma as well. The glimpse released earlier generated curiosity among audiences, promising an immersive narrative filled with ancient mysteries, mythology and suspense.

The latest update is that leading producer and distributor Dil Raju has acquired the theatrical distribution rights for Vrushakarma in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Karnataka through his banner, Sri Venkateswara Creations. His association with the film has added to the buzz surrounding the project.

The scale of the production has also become a talking point, particularly after the team released a video showcasing an elaborate cave set built for a key portion of the story. The massive set reflects the effort being put into creating a visually rich world for this adventure thriller. The previously released behind-the-scenes glimpse and posters have also generated interest in the film.

Meenakshi Chaudhary plays the female lead opposite Naga Chaitanya, while Sparsh Shrivastava, known for Laapataa Ladies, will be seen as the antagonist.

The film boasts a strong technical team, with Ragul D Herian handling cinematography, Ajaneesh B Loknath composing the music, Sri Nagendra Tangala overseeing production design and Naveen Nooli taking care of editing.

Reportedly the most expensive film of Naga Chaitanya's career, Vrushakarma has also recorded the highest pre-release business of his career so far. The film is generating positive buzz among audiences and trade circles, and the makers are gearing up for an extensive promotional campaign ahead of its December 4 release.
