Earlier this Thursday, actor Bhagyashri Borse paid homage to the late NT Rama Rao on his birth anniversary. NTR was born on May 28, 1923, and would have been 103 years today. Bhagyashri shared a clip from his 1977 film Daana Veera Soora Karna featuring the same dialogue that her Lenin character says in the latter film's teaser.

Referring to the famous dialogue and reminiscing about the late actor, Bhagyashri wrote, "Remember The Legendary Actor Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao garu on his BIrth Anniversary! Deeply honoured to have performed a glimpse of this scene in Lenin."

Much like MG Ramachandran (MGR) in Tamil, NTR has a legacy with a major impact in Telugu cinema, culture, and politics. He served as Andhra Pradesh's Chief Minister for more than seven years, across four terms.

Bhagyashri Borse also shared a behind-the-scenes clip where she can be seen preparing for her scene in Lenin that pays tribute to the aforementioned NTR scene. Directed by Murali Kishor Abburu of Vinaro Bhagyamu Vishnu Katha fame, Lenin also stars Akhil Akkineni in the lead role. The film is scheduled for a June 26 release.

Bhagyashri Borse's upcoming films also include Seyon, which brings her back to Tamil cinema after a role in Kaantha. Directed by Sivakumar Murugesan of Thaai Kizhavi fame, Seyon stars Sivakarthikeyan in the lead role. The upcoming Tamil film is produced by Kamal Haasan under his Raaj Kamal Films International banner. Recently, Bhagyashri met Kamal and expressed her admiration for the legendary actor.
